We are the Anti-Money Laundering Group in Regulatory Services, one of the New Zealand Government s larger regulatory bodies. We promote effective regulatory outcomes through engagement, education and enforcement.

As a risk-based, responsive and modern regulator we provide effective regulatory services in an increasingly complex, borderless and digital world. 

You will lead innovation and drive change in the operational regulatory team based in Auckland. You ll be part of a team that is externally focussed and confidently transitions from regulator to educator. You ll be outcome focussed and will be experienced in taking people on a journey to continuously improve our regulatory practice and performance.

You will have:

  • Strong operational leadership experience in a regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrable success in motivating and developing high performing front-line teams.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory concepts and functions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
