Create or enhance archival finding aids providing access to unpublished collections held in the Alexander Turnbull Library.
Facilitate use of specific tools for Māori materials, or to Māori clients

The National Library sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch – Te Tāhuhu Iringa Kōrero, the Department s epicentre of information management, culture and heritage. Our branch is all about collecting, storing and preserving important things that are precious to New Zealand.
This role will use your tertiary or post-graduate study in Māori or New Zealand Studies, your knowledge and understanding of New Zealand/Aotearoa history and culture, and your experience with enabling discovery and access to taonga collections and their contexts. For example, one project might be to determine iwi/hapū terms to add to descriptions for te reo Māori material.
