Hon Peeni Henare, the Minister of Defence, for Whānau Ora, and Associate Minister of Health (Māori Health), Associate Minister of Housing (Māori Housing) and Associate Minister of Tourism, is seeking an administrative extraordinaire with a difference to join their team. You will be a dedicated and committed team player, extremely well organised with exceptional administration skills.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries to the office, which makes experience in a customer facing role highly desirable. You will be responsible for assisting with the tracking and drafting of correspondence, diary management, making travel arrangements, and processing invitation and meeting requests so a strong eye for detail is a necessity. You will also be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

Described as someone who can work well under tight timeframes, enjoys multi-tasking, shows initiative and has a proven record of exceeding expectations you will thrive in the busy ministerial office environment where no two days are the same.
