What are we looking for?
PwC’s Hawke’s Bay office is recruiting for Accountants with two or more years experience. You’ll join the Financial Advisory Services team for a Private Business accounting or Tax position. We work in a fast-moving environment that provides unparalleled opportunities for you to kick start your career.
What would you be doing?
You’ll be part of the Financial Advisory Services team based in Hawke’s Bay. As part of the team you will:
Provide practical, high quality technical advice to a diverse range of clients on accounting and tax advisory assignments
Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and/or tax returns, as well as all types of work associated with a Chartered Accountants office

What do you need to bring to the role?
Experience in a CA environment or a Business Advisory role who has a good grasp of standard business processes (GST, PAYE, cash flow issues)
Strong accounting skills and experience in Cloud accounting solutions
A motivated and energetic approach to your work
A good eye for detail
You enjoy working as part of a team, but also have a high level of initiative to work unsupervised where required
A positive attitude and strong organisational abilities and communication skills are essential
Ideally, a degree in Commerce or Accounting, or CIMA or CPA qualified
