Job DescriptionWhat we’re looking forWe’re looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Auckland Regional business for a fixed term of 6 months starting ASAP. You will be based at our site office in Reliable Way, Mt Wellington and will be responsible for the administration and accounting support.What you’ll be doingSorting and administration of supplier invoices & statements, purchase orders and the administration of subcontractor payment claimsAllocating costs to correct cost codesSetting up new vendors, credit applications, updating purchase orders and maintaining data integrity in JDEObtaining required approvals from the project teams for costs incurredPreparing weekly and monthly payment runs and ensuring appropriate processes are followedManagement of staff expense claims on a weekly basisUpskilling/training the business in AP functionalityReview and action weekly and monthly reportingAd-hoc administrative tasks in support of wider commercial and project teamsWhat you’ll bring to the tablePast experience in an accounts administration roleStrong data entry skills, and the ability to adapt to new systems (previous experience with JDE will be highly regarded)The ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors and the regional team to build and maintain strong relationshipsSelf-motivation to work under minimal supervision and lead others within the team as requiredDemonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines as requiredDemonstrated ability to resolve queries/problemsFulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
