Our experienced team at the Northern Forensic Pathology Service will guide you as you navigate this new career path – teaching you all that comes with this intersecting field of medicine and law.
It’s important work where your empathetic, detailed-focused nature will equip you well – assisting administration, medical, scientific and technical staff with a variety of , assisting with tissue management and admissions and releases.
In this position, you’ll receive comprehensive training in all aspects of our Forensic Pathology Service relevant to the position, including administration and technical components.
As you would expect, the nature of our work means you’ll be exposed to content and concepts of a graphical nature, including forensic material and images, the mortuary theatres, equipment and environments. As such, it’s important you come to us with resilient demeanour and a respectful approach to your work.
This position is full time, permanent working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
