We have an opportunity for an administration professional to assist our labour market team with a wide range of administrative support.  

About the role
The role provides support to our Labour Market Team and flexibility to provide coverage to the Employment Team as required is essential.
In this busy and varied role, you are responsible for the providing support to the Labour Market Manager and wider team through delivery of calendar and email management, meeting coordination, travel booking, fleet management, preparation of correspondence and reading packs, management of all filing and general support in workload management. 
Acting as a key contact and support for the wider you will carry out tasks related to team administration. This includes meeting and forum organisation, management and distribution of information, follow-up of requests, tracking of leave applications, recruitment process associated with new staff and other tasks as required to ensure a well-supported and smooth-running team. 
You must be able to act with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in this role.  
About you

You have:

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven expertise supporting a team in an administrative capacity
  • Experience maintaining and improving office systems
  • Exceptional relationship building skills – you enjoy meeting people from varied backgrounds
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence and ability to drive Ministry vehicles as required.
