Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the Role

There’s lots of variety in this role based in MPI’s office located near Auckland airport. You’ll support the smooth running of the team’s office by providing data base administration, daily support of the compliance team, phone enquiries, and other administration duties as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Daily data entry/ management of a variety of databases
  • Dealing with phone enquires
  • Administration support to the Fisheries Compliance and wider operations team.  


Mōu – About You

This isn’t a typical support officer role; as an experienced administrator, you’ll bring a level of professionalism, calm and maturity to the role. You’ll be friendly and engaging and able to handle sensitive information. You’ll be a great organiser, communicator and confident using Microsoft Word and new systems. A high level of detail is a must for this role.

Previous experience in a similar role with a compliance or enforcement background would be very beneficial.

Salary range for this role is $48,000  to $52,000 depending on skills and experience
