Health Services at Christchurch Women’s Prison is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities working part time on Monday’s and Tuesday’s.

The prime responsibilities of this role are to ensure accurate medical information is recorded and maintained, while supporting the team with day-to-day administration duties, including reception, internal and external schedules and appointments, travel bookings and database management.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound working knowledge of computerised systems and keyboard skills
  • An ability to develop and improve efficiencies
  • Knowledge or understanding of working with SAP
  • Familiarity with health systems and medical terminology would be advantageous
  • Experience using Medtech, Word and Excel
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written
  • High level customer service skills

If you are a team player with the ability to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining patient confidentiality, this will be the key to outstanding delivery.

The salary range for this role is $45,518 – $54,120 pro rata, dependent on progression of required competency levels.
