Electrix Limited is also one of New Zealand’s foremost electrical construction and maintenance companies and provides a wide range of services to the power, electricity, gas, industrial and commercial sectors.We seek the services of an Administrator – IT Level 1 (3-month Fixed Term Contract) to provide first-level IT support to users of Distribution Services Perimeter as a member of the Application Support Team.Key Responsibilities:Providing first response IT support for computer users in Distribution Services PerimeterLogging and tracking of systems related issuesTroubleshooting, testing and problem resolutionAssisting other members of the Application Support team across various applicationsUpdating documentation relevant to IT SupportTechnical Knowledge/ Skills/ Education:Holds or is working towards a degree or diploma in information technology is requiredA least one year’s practical experience in a similar environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to teach and impart IT knowledge to userKnowledge of computer and system operationsKnowledge of Microsoft products, such as Office and OutlookTechnical understanding of equipment such as PCs, laptops, tablets and printersEffective verbal and written communication skillsThis position is based in Albany.
