Primary Care Team

Monday- Friday, flexibility with hours worked per day (approx. 20 hours)

A strong primary health care system is central to improving the health of all New Zealanders and reducing health inequalities between different population groups. Our primary health care system needs to: support people to live well, stay well and get well; ensure people understand and are able to access the care they need; provide care closer to where people live and work and; keep people at the centre of decision-making.

We have an opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge, to work part-time as an Administrator with the Primary Care team. The role is an ideal opportunity for you if you are wanting to work with a busy team: share or advance your understanding of the primary care health system; and make a strong contribution to a key health priority.

It would be an advantage if you:

  • have strong organisational and administrative skills
  • communicate well both orally and in written form
  • engage well with internal and external stakeholders
  • can demonstrate an ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude.

You will also ideally have experience in working in central government.

The National Ambulance Sector Office (NASO) is responsible to the Ministry of Health and ACC for the joint planning and funding of ambulance services. NASO’s purpose is to provide a single voice for the Crown in strategic and operational matters regarding ambulance. NASO works closely with road and air ambulance service providers, the wider health sector and other government organisations.

We have an opportunity for someone looking to work part-time as an Administrator within NASO. The role is an ideal opportunity for you if you enjoy working within a dynamic team and making a difference.

It would be an advantage if you:

  • have strong organisational and administrative skills
  • communicate well both orally and in written form
  • confident in minute taking
  • engage well with internal and external stakeholders
  • can demonstrate an ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude.

You will also ideally have experience in working in central government.
