The Māori Health Directorate are the kaitiakitanga for the Ministry in regard to leading our response to its obligations to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori health aspirations and requirements, and equity in health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
The Māori Health Insights Team within the Māori Health Directorate leads, supports and contributes to the development and delivery of quality analytics and insights to improve health outcomes for Māori within a complex and challenging health and disability system. As an Advisor, you will play an important role in the development and delivery of quality information and advice to improve Māori health outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the public sector. Your understanding of tikanga Māori and a willingness to improve your te reo Māori will be important.
