Funding and Programme Delivery is a key group within the new Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. We fund and partner initiatives to deliver more permanent public housing and affordable rental supply. We also spearhead the provision of programmes that are focused on supporting people with a housing need, including those who are homeless.  Ultimately, our Group (like our colleagues across the Ministry) is all about creating thriving communities where everyone has a place to call home.

About the role

The Programme Data and Reporting team plays an important role within Funding and Programme Delivery, the team is responsible for reporting on a large number of contracts with external suppliers, tracking their performance against delivery targets and contractual milestones. As an advisor in this team you will be responsible for assisting with high level analysis and reporting on the progress of initiatives and programmes. 

About You

You will have experience monitoring, analysing and reporting on business performance and will have a proven track record of developing robust reports using data analytics. You will have strong relationship management ability looking for ways you can collaborate with other groups to ensure a consistent approach to data analytics and insights.

Your background will include:

  • Experience providing advice on the best use of available data to address different business issues
  • The ability to translate technical information into plain English
  • Assist with the provision of information requests
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in and knowledge of public sector reporting processes
  • A collaborate approach to your work
  • An understanding of different reporting tools especially Excel and SQL
  • Extensive computer literacy, especially in data extraction/reporting software.
