Two new Advisor Publishing positions have been created within Judicial Libraries. The roles are full-time and based with our National Office team in Wellington.
Working in a small team, you will be responsible for the publication of judicial decisions to public access sites used by the judiciary, Ministry staff, the legal profession and the general public. The role includes ensuring all decisions are published in accordance with the law and within guidelines agreed between the Ministry and Judiciary. You will also be involved in the editing and production of various legal current awareness services for the judiciary and courts staff.

You will also possess a law degree and particular knowledge of the criminal justice sector and New Zealand’s constitutional arrangements. Previous experience in legal publishing, or knowledge of suppression and media law would also be an advantage. Consideration will be given to candidates with other relevant skills and experience.
You will be required to work with, and manage the expectations of, a wide range of clients, including the Judiciary, Ministry staff and the general public.

Salary band $61,744 – $87,176
