The State Services Commission (SSC) leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
The System and Agency Performance Group (SAPG) provides critical support to the State Services Commission so that it can lead and influence improvements across the State sector. We provide analysis and advice on agency and system performance. We lead the management of Public Service Chief Executive recruitment, remuneration, performance, development and succession, the Commission’s engagement with Crown entities at a strategic level and about Crown entity chief executive remuneration. We also manage Chief Executive disclosures on remuneration and expenses; and the Cabinet Fees Framework.

The Advisor position usually pays between $67,840 to $89,040 depending on skills and experience. The Senior Advisor position usually pays between $92,560 to $121,485 depending on skills and experience.
