Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, the largest payroll in the country, and transportation of over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
Our vision for school property is that all schools have quality learning environments as part of a well-managed and sustainable portfolio that helps deliver equitable and excellent outcomes for every child.
The Operational Practice & Funding team provides support to the Property Delivery teams within EIS. We are responsible for providing staff with the tools and resources they need to deliver quality advice and assistance to schools and suppliers. The team is also responsible for managing property related funding.
About the roles
We have a number of Advisor opportunities to support business critical functions while a new Portfolio Management Office is being established.
In these roles you will support the Operational Practice Framework that drives continuous improvement and consistency, supports staff professional judgement and sound decision making, and provides best-practice information for Property Delivery staff to deliver property services to schools. You will also assist with the implementation of operational policy across Property Delivery and support the School Funding Team’s functions and responsibilities.
