What you will do
In this role you will be responsible for all matters affecting the outputs of the Cargo Shed; you will also be responsible for the receipt, preparation, documentation and forwarding of freight for air transportation.
What we need
We are seeking a person who can bring some good experience from within a warehousing environment. Ideally you will also bring experience in relation to raising and checking international freight documentation, both import and export. An understanding of MPI ad NZ Customs requirements would be an advantage.
You have excellent communication skills and can work with a wide variety of people which in this role includes freight agencies.
You will need to have a full Class 1 Driver Licence with an F endorsement.
Who we are
Air Movements Auckland (AK AMS) is responsible for providing Air Terminal Services in support of Military Air Operations. When required, AK AMS will also contribute personnel to a Mobile Air Terminal Unit (MATU) consisting of three Air Load Teams (ALT) and HQ element for deployment to support FE or NZDF operations.
