This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or early career data analyst to join a well-established team that works in partnership across the Ministry of Justice.
Sector Group is a multi-disciplinary team that brings together the best of strategy, policy, data analysis, investment, research and evaluation capabilities to inform decision making by justice agency leaders. We support justice agencies to work together to deliver ambitious results for a fair and safe Aotearoa.

The Analytics and Insights teams turn data into insight to support the delivery better services and outcomes to people engaging with the Justice system. We achieve this by helping our partners answer three critical questions: What’s happening? why is it happening? and what would happen if?
This allows the Ministry’s operational leaders to focus their front-line improvement efforts on the areas that will make the biggest difference to New Zealanders.
