Mō te tūnga | About the role

At Ara Poutama Aotearoa, the National Workforce Planning Team has been established to lead the consistency of rostering practices nationally, including the development of new roster patterns that are tailored to improve the operational effectiveness of each prison site.

The team are now recruiting for technical specialists to undertake high-level analysis of our prison workforce planning data. In doing this, you will deliver tailored business solutions, reports and recommendations that will directly impact on how each site delivers changes to their tailored roster patterns, guidelines, processes and policies in line with approved design principles.

These are fixed-term project roles through to December 2020 offering you the opportunity to work closely alongside a highly regarded multi-disciplinary team of Senior Analysts and workforce planning specialists who value team collaboration, knowledge sharing and having a direct positive impact on the wellness and wellbeing of our people.    

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

Essential in this role is your advanced technical knowledge and analytical capability, specifically in using Excel to extract, collate and summarise data.  Proven experience in roster development is also a must. Complimenting this, you’ll demonstrate strong written communication skills that enable you to deliver high level information, statistics and data into clear, concise and logical outputs.  The value you place on peer collaboration and fostering positive stakeholder relationships will round off your profile.

The salary range for this role is $66,411 to $93,756.  Appointments are based on demonstrable skills and experience relevant to the role.
