Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role

You will be accountable for the leadership of a mobile and geographically-dispersed team, whose key focus is to ensure operational excellence in the delivery of tenancy management and advice.

A key component of this role is coaching and developing the team to grow capability and deliver key measurable outcomes to support the achievement of People and Homes goals and KPI’s.

You will drive nationally-consistent standards and processes, and focus on the delivery of a smooth customer lifecycle. Active management of key stakeholders within the areas will be central to your success.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring:

  • Proven experience leading and managing large teams across multiple geographic locations, including managing staff development and performance
  • Proven experience in inspiring and motivating direct reports and broader teams to achieve successful outcomes, with a strong focus on driving operational excellence, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Experience working with different cultures and community groups, coupled with an understanding of issues, priorities and concerns facing key customer and community groups in the region
  • Experience working in a customer centric environment with a sound grasp of quality customer service, as well as working with budgets and managing a budget successfully

As this role necessitates travelling across the Central Auckland/North Shore region, you will have a full and clean NZ driver’s licence (vehicle provided).
