New Zealand Police is classified as an investment intensive government agency, and as such we are expected to manage our assets to a higher level of asset management maturity. To support the effective management of the Police property portfolio, the Property Asset Manager will be responsible for the long term planning, to ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Police’s property.

 

NZ Police are seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Asset Manager, who will ensure the effective management, coordination and performance of Police Property assets, through taking a whole of life approach and ensuring that our assets are managed in a sustainable, cost-effective manner.

 

This is an exciting new role within the Police Infrastructure team and will require the successful applicant to provide high quality professional asset advice, guidance and support across the Police property portfolio, and to enable effective and informed decision making.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Sound Knowledge and experience in Asset Management
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • A tertiary qualification in property, facilities Management, Risk Management or ability to demonstrate equivalent business experience
  • High level of competency with MS office Suite of programmes
  • Calm under pressure and capable of thinking on your feet

Certification Requirements:
