Great opportunity to join the The New Zealand Parole Board Team.

The New Zealand Parole Board (the Board) is an independent statutory authority. The position of Assistant Administrator represents the principal clerical support role for the New Zealand Parole Board administration team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office such as Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Sound information processing skills including the statistical data entry, manipulation, retrieval and presentation of material
  • Experience and understanding of, and experience in an administration role within the public sector and/or state sector environment
  • Demonstrated successful experience in the provision of customer focussed administrative support services to managers and staff
  • Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and data
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organisation, planning and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional in approach to work and presentation at all times
  • Builds and maintains rapport with others and has the ability to clearly communicate with a wide range of groups and individuals
  • Sensitivity towards Maori, Pacific Peoples and other cultures.

Other Requirements

  • A full driver’s licence is required for the travel.

The salary range for this role is $43,000 to $60,705 Appointment will be based on skills and experience relevant to the role.
