Transfer pricing is one of the most topical, controversial and challenging fields within tax and KPMG is looking for professionals with an interest in transfer pricing to join our expanding practice. Ideally we’re looking for someone to apply fresh and innovative thinking to complex cross-border arrangements in order to add value to our clients. You’ll have two or more years of tax, enterprise or audit experience (training will be provided in transfer pricing) and an interest in international tax, multinational business and trade.Day to day you will:Prepare transfer pricing reports and analyses – complying with New Zealand legislation and reflecting international guidelines Assist senior team members manage client relationships, responding to all client queries in an effective and timely mannerMeet with clients to understand their business, their transfer pricing needs and potential risk exposuresAssist with dispute resolution and APA applications, including preparing submissions and responses to Inland RevenueCollaborate within the international KPMG network to provide holistic transfer pricing advice that addresses multi-jurisdictional requirementsExpand transfer pricing knowledge through learning and adaptation as appropriateContribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems and proceduresWhat you’ll bring to the team:Two or more years tax, enterprise or audit experience in a professional services environmentRelevant qualifications (e.g. degree in accounting, finance, economics or law) Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients, staff and partnersStrong organisational and time management skillsGood problem solving and analytical skillsSelf-motivated with a high level of initiativeFor more information contact Kim Jarrett, who is happy to expand on the nature of the work and the role.We offer rewarding careers for outstanding professionals, ongoing learning and development opportunities, a collaborative and inclusive culture, and flexible and agile work practices that focus on our people’s wellbeing to drive innovation and entrepreneurship.
