We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Newmarket store in Auckland, for an enthusiastic, self-starter to join the team as an Assistant Store Manager.

In this varied role you will be required to work on a wide range of passenger vehicles and fields. You will be responsible for :

  • Technical tasks : wheel aligning, diagnosing tyre damage, balance problems and balancing wheels, removing/replacing tyres, selecting correct tyres, tubes and rims…
  • Sales : ensure store sales are maximised, implement national marketing campaigns, ensuring the right advertising of merchandise…
  • Stock Management
  • Staff management in absence of the Store Manager : supervising and training employees, conducting regular meetings, identifying and planning improvement opportunities…
  • Administration and Health & Safety
  • To be successful in this role, you are required to have :

  • Experience in Wheel Aligning and/or Mechanics
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and understand technical data
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation
  • A current manual driver’s licence
  • A previous management experience would be ideal.
