Our Biosecurity team provide services to help protect New Zealand against exotic pests and disease incursions. Our team provides biosecurity surveillance trap monitoring for the MPI surveillance programmes and eradication work for the National Invasive Ant Surveillance programme. As a member of our team you will cover a range of tasks such as trapping, inspection and sampling.
We are looking for a trapping superstar in the Wellington region. Please note, this is a casual role working as and when required.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the outdoors (working in 18-28 degrees), field based work and thrives on working both in a team and individually.
You will pride yourself in having a strong health and safety focus, clean drivers licence along with a keen interest in technology, excellent verbal & written communication skills, an eye for detail and a passion for quality.
