You’ll be joining:
Our client operates a Dry Stack, Boat Yard and Marina on the Tamaki River in Mt Wellington. It is a business with less than 10 employees. They are innovative and passionate about boating & providing great customer service to their clients.

Your Role:
Your job title would be a Boatpark Operator. Your main role will be to operate a Marine Forklift and Boat Haulout Trailer in a safe and efficient manner.

Full time, rostered over 7 days.

You’ll be doing:

  • To be responsible for safe hauling and launching of all vessels in the complex.
  • To complete all documentation relating to boat movements.
  • Water blasting of boats.
  • To ensure all customers are attended to promptly and dealt with in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • To report any damage / maintenance issues.
  • Assist vessels in Marina as required. Move customer vessels within marina and elsewhere in safe and respectful manner.
  • Attend to all yard and building maintenance requirements as directed.
  • Maintain all machinery as required in Service Manuals.
  • Ensure yard, buildings and marinas are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

  • Current driver licence (F Endorsement desirable otherwise training will be offered)
  • Fork lift, Tractor and Hydraulic experience an advantage – otherwise training given.
  • Knowledge/experience with boats an advantage.
