Opportunity to broaden your exposure to IT&T law.Flexible work options available.About The RoleIn this role you will have the opportunity to:Work with procurement and commercial managers to negotiate new supplier contracts.Opportunity to deal with new financial sector regulatory obligations.Prepare, negotiate, and review supply contracts for ANZ New Zealand, ensuring that commercial and legal risks are identified and that ANZ policies are followed.Support customer business unit goals and strategies while protecting ANZ.Establish and maintain excellent working relationships within Procurement and business stakeholders.Actively support the development and delivery of a highly engaged, capable and integrated Procurement team.Role Location: Wellington preferred but will consider candidates from other citiesRole Type: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months (May 2021 to May 2021)Working Hours: Business hours (flexibility available)About YouTo grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience with sound practical experience of contract law and contract drafting.A law degree and the ability to hold a New Zealand Law Society practicing certificate.Track record in business partnering with key stakeholders, at varying levels within a large/complex organizationTime management and prioritisation skills with the ability to operate in a multi-deadline environment.Evidence of sound judgment and ethical behaviour in making and influencing quality decisions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to provide simple, concise advice.About ANZOur purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive.
