The role is specifically required to support delivery of data enhancement and embedding data management as part of Strategic Delivery Portfolio in the AR&C Division. Strategic Delivery is charged with transforming the AR&C division, bringing “best in class” capability to bear with the Business. About The Role Role Location: Melbourne, VIC Role Type: Permanent, Full-time Note: 2 X Business Analyst (multiple vacancies) The role will require you to combine your experience spanning business analysis of systems and processes and your solid analysis skills in order to identify solutions and drive data enhancement, as well as embed data management capabilities, across the Commercial and Business Owners Portfolio, partnering with Business and Technology teams to achieve outcomes. Your role will be critical in supporting and driving adoption of the Data Governance agenda – including the Enterprise Data Governance Framework, Standards and Policies. To achieve this, you will: Work collaboratively with colleagues within our Division, within the Commercial Customer Portfolio and Data Management team. Help transform how data is organised, managed and leveraged within Commercial & Business Owners to meet obligations, help the Business through better data and achieve great outcomes for Customers and Bankers. Support the Business Owners and Commercial Portfolios in AR&C with business process that drives data elements and supporting process and remediation of data quality and issues related. Manage data related initiatives and issues to drive business value with data as a focus We’re looking for your drive, enthusiasm and smarts to help us ensure that Commercial and Business Owners portfolios have effective and compliant data capture, management, storage and usage. Your knowledge of business process, critical data elements (i.e. impact capital calculations, reporting etc.), ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders and deliver initiatives in a timely manner is essential. What will your day look like? Partnering with our stakeholders and supporting capabilities to achieve Customer and Banker outcomes where data underpins the requirement statement or objective Business outcomes oriented analysis of data quality issues Identifying and driving remediation strategies and execution with a focus on strategic sustainable solutions Produce remediation plans to resolve data quality issues and partnering with business stakeholders and system owners to deliver to the plan Analysing and ensuring data aspects are a key part of process and system evolution, including partnering in the delivery of solutions in collaboration with the business, technology and initiative teams Mapping and cataloguing data elements and data assets. Identify and propose ways to address constraints that hinder progress, escalating as appropriate Ensure ANZ’s core values are always maintained in dealing with staff, colleagues and customers. What will be in your toolkit? Proficiency in analysing and simplifying large amounts of varied and complex information and developing recommendations to move forward Ability to turn data and information into business insights and solutions Experience planning (end to end mapping), sizing and executing activities with Agile in mind, as well as building a business case from a data perspective and selling this to senior leaders across our organisation Providing innovative thought process working under Division’s data strategy, introducing modern data concepts and challenging the status quo whilst understanding the regulatory requirements of the Bank – including a focus on automation and digitisation Able to frame solutions in context of business outcomes that benefit our Customer and Bankers, and partner in the delivery of solutions across multiple teams Comfortable building trusted and productive relationships across the organisation with a strong ability to influence and succeed through collaboration Proven ability to deliver in a complex and fast paced environment. Competence in effective communication across a range of audiences. Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose solutions to simplify and automate existing processes A strong work ethic with a focus on excellence and attention to detail.
