Visa Services 2020 is a customer excellence programme within Immigration New Zealand (INZ) that is being implemented over a 3 year period. With enhanced digital technology and bringing more work onshore the outcome for our customers will be a more accurate, consistent and timely service.
Our Striking the Balance strategy emphasises INZ’s role as a regulator in the face of increasing external threats to the integrity of the immigration system. In addition to making it easy to understand and use the New Zealand immigration system, we must also deter misuse. As a result INZ is being realigned into eight branches.
We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Performance and Reporting team based in our Wellington office.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing advice and support including reporting, performance planning, and responding to requests for data from across the organisation. You will also work closely with Business Analysts across INZ to ensure consistency of approach to processes and tools.
The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of advice and practices in relation to their contribution to the team’s work.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
To be considered for the role you will have demonstrated skills in data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience using SAS EG and MS Excel. Experience with SAS Visual Analytics and R is also desirable.
