  • Two opportunities available to join the Resolution Discovery team within the Products business unit.
  • Support the Senior Product Managers with business analytics, process re-engineering and operational day-to-day support for Discovery and Customer Resolution activities across the product portfolios
  • Contribute to, and be a part of, the banks event management process by helping to explore and understand the root cause of assigned reportable events, identify and estimate the impact to customers, design controls and make recommendations on how to manage/mitigate that impact moving forward.
  • About the role: As a Business Analyst in Resolution Discovery, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide business analytics, process re-engineering and operational day-to-day support for Resolution Discovery activities across the product portfolios.
  • Explore and identify root cause of reportable events, design controls and determine the requirements for identifying customer impact and estimating financial impact.
  • Manage and prioritise initiatives to support effective, timely completion and reduce ongoing issues.
  • Analyse and interpret data and information so that you can provide recommendations, insights and decision support for events.
  • Ensure that our customers are central to considerations and decision making.
  • Recommend control and solution options for the future state and operating model, considering the impact on current state.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all areas of the Bank to allow business objectives to be achieved.
  • Be a knowledgeable and collaborative business partner that contributes a reasoned point of view, positive can-do attitude and ideas.
  • Location: Auckland or Wellington (preferred) Role Type: Permanent About you: To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • 3 -5 years’ business analyst experience and/or related technical experience
  • Motivated with the ability to adapt quickly, work under pressure and manage multiple activities in accordance with delivery requirements and timelines
  • Good research, analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-starter, results driven
  • Experience working across functions/regions
