Job DescriptionOur sia Abrasives team within the Power Tools department are currently offering an exciting, ongoing opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Business Development Manager. The role will be a home office based position from Auckland, New Zealand and will involve domestic and occasional international travel.Position responsibilities will include:Develop, maintain and execute Territory Plans to achieve sales and profit targets, maximise potential, and grow market sharePlanning and relationship management for customer base through regular visits and callsProduct training to drive store staff and end user engagement and recommendationPromote product releases and promotional activities to build brand awareness and loyaltyReport on market trends, activities and competitor informationProvide timely and accurate sales forecasts and develop initiatives to close gaps or optimize new opportunitiesQualificationsWe are looking for proactive, self-driven and flexible individual who can work towards KPI’s and deliver on all aspects of the sales cycle. A proven background in Sales is required along with strong analytical skills, the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with both internal and external customers.You should be able to demonstrate the following:Tertiary qualification or degree in Business, or similar, is highly regardedProven successful track record in sales and account managementIn depth knowledge of the abrasives, power tools or a related industry is highly advantageousProficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM, ERP and project management toolsA valid New Zealand Driver’s licenseExcellent presentation, attention to detail, project management and communication skillsStrong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in an agile environmentAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyHome office based in previous rolesAdditional InformationWe recognise that our employees are our greatest asset.
