We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Information analyst to join us for 12 months in the New Zealand Government Procurement and Property (NZGPP) branch!

The NZGPP provides functional leadership for procurement and property across the public sector for all of New Zealand. We have created a new role in the Utilities (Electricity and Reticulated Gas) Team within the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team and we look after contracts across all of Government.

This position plays a key role in shaping the future of the AoG Electricity and Gas contracts.

The Business Information Analyst undertakes information gathering, data management, reporting and analysis functions, and engagement with agencies and suppliers to gain insights which can be used to achieve the best possible procurement outcome for government.

 To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyse data and make recommendations
  • Analytical experience using complex and disparate information to deliver insights and trends
  • Experience in determining data required for reporting purposes and how best to report
  • Experience in engaging with stakeholders
  • Experience working with business systems and data
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or comparable relevant experience and/or professional development demonstrating qualifications for the role
