At Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) we are focusing on the future and modernising of our technology and the services we provide to remain connected, innovative and flexible.
We are currently redeveloping Landonline which is crucial to supporting the New Zealand way of life. There’s no other way to buy land or a house in New Zealand, and it provides important information to be able to respond to emergencies, natural disasters and biosecurity concerns. To support our business goals in this area, our LINZ Property System Infrastructure (PPSI) Group has initiated a scaled Agile Programme to develop our next generation technology platform for our survey and title system.

The Business Rules Analyst role gives you an opportunity to make a valuable and tangible contribution to our transformation programme. You’ll be collaborating with our key stakeholders to inform your strategies as you analyse, create and manage our business rules, to feed into our frameworks and business rules engine. Drawing from the insight and intelligence you collect from our stakeholders; you’ll refine and enhance the contents of our existing frameworks to ensure they’ll continue to be fit for purpose for the lifespan of the Programme.
With your demonstrable experience and passion for your work, you’ll shape the future of our programme as you gather rule related intelligence to critically analyse, determine and recommend appropriate solutions for Business Rules. You’ll have an Agile mindset that will see you scope our proposed work effort in relation to costs, resource requirements and delivery time frames and provide innovative recommendations that can be flexibly applied to all areas of our work.
You’ll be the person we look to as our Business Rules Champion. You’ll establish yourself as a source of knowledge and expertise when it comes to implementing high quality business rules that apply best practice, identify and mitigate any risks and communicating these ideas proactively to your colleagues, project teams and stakeholders.
