He angitūtanga: About the Role

As one of our next Business System Support Advisors’, you will be responsible for supporting newly adopted solutions and play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the Business System Support team.

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for applications.
  • Acting on behalf of and giving advice to the technical product owner.  Performing activities that provide technical assurance that the system is secure and well maintained.  Keeping them informed of technical activities that need to be included on the roadmap.
  • Acting on behalf of and giving advice to business owners.  Identifying trends and investigating opportunities to maximise value from applications.  Keeping them informed of upcoming roadmap activities and responsibilities aligned with business ownership.
  • Escalating issues through vendors and keeping all stakeholders informed on progress.


He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for


  • A passion for providing great customer service and building services that create great customer experiences.
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting business applications.
  • Understanding of the terms and meanings of the language used in modern IT support operations.
  • Competent communication skills, across a full range of mediums from face-to-face, to chat group and formal written documentation.
  • A passion for conservation and protecting NZ’s natural and cultural heritage.


  • Experience leading initiatives.
  • A broad passion for IT across networking, OS, application and development technologies.
  • ITIL qualification/s.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Iterative framework.
  • A tertiary degree in IT.
