We have an opportunity for a Case Manager (Housing) to join our Kaitaia team on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone who can work in a  fast paced, pressured environment and have the confidence to make good decisions, often in isolation. You will need to have strong people skills and be able to negotiate outcomes.

We are a busy site, and it is essential that you are prepared to work hard, be a great team player and be passionate about helping vulnerable members of our community. If you are dependable to the core and have the grit and tenacity to show up and work hard even when the going is tough, this could be the role for you.

The role of the Case Manager (Housing) is to support people who are looking for help to secure affordable and stable housing, which can lead to outcomes in a number of other areas such as employment and health.

In this role you are responsible for assessing the needs of people applying for Public Housing, as well as for holding local knowledge on housing and providing options and advice. Part of the role includes reviewing tenancies of existing public housing tenants to reassess eligibility and proactively work on staircasing people back into the private housing sector.


Permanent, Full Time (37.55 hours per week)
