You will manage a caseload of clients to find out their individual circumstances, barriers, potential and pathways to achieving employment goals. Providing practical advice and support, you will work with your clients to create meaningful action plans, that are time-framed and supported by service providers as required. These plans cover employment opportunities, training and development, education programmes and work experience. You are motivated and driven to help others and genuinely thrive on seeing others achieve their goals.
You treat people with care and show empathy for those in vulnerable positions. It is a position of privilege, where you can help others keep moving ahead and ensure they get the wrap around support they need to succeed. You will be able to give them advice on the labour market, career options and help them identify where their skills can be used to help them achieve sustainable employment outcomes. You’ll bring a high level of personal integrity, initiative, problem solving and relationship management skills to the role. You’re comfortable navigating your way around computer systems and entering information accurately. You have a good level of numeracy and communication skills as part of this role is assessing eligibility to income support in line with legislation and policy.

The salary for this role is from $47,622 to $65,480 per annum. Application along this salary scale is dependent on relevant work experience and evidenced skills and subject to a six monthly or yearly performance review.
