Aligned with the national plan, our vaccination volume requirementscontinue to grow. Therefore, we need to ensure that we have enough people onthe ground supporting our vaccination efforts at a growing number of massvaccination, community and mobile clinics and sites around Christchurch andsurrounding areas. With a number of non-clinical Administrationand Recovery Support roles available, this is your opportunity to participateand make a critical contribution to your community and whānau, and and wider Aotearoa Covid response!These are casual roles to support theprogramme at its peak and to fill any emergency roster gaps until the end ofDecember 2021. Therefore, these roles do not guarantee any set number of shiftsor hours, but we could offer you to take up shifts across Monday to Sundaywithin clinics’ operating hours of 07:00 – 23:00. In this role you willbe:EitherMeeting and greeting patients and ensuring that they are comfortable before their vaccinationNoting patient information on the Covid-19 National Immunisation RegisterBooking and confirming appointments for patientsOrMaking patients feel comfortable for up to 30 minutes once they have been vaccinated to ensure they do not deteriorateNoting patient information on the Covid-19 National Immunisation RegisterCalling on nursing staff if a patient is starting to deteriorateTo be successful inthis role you will have:Essential:Excellent interpersonal & customer service skillsStrong computer skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems quicklyAttention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressureDesirableExperience in a busy customer facing roleCPR training certificate (Training will be provided as part of the orientation if you don’t have it)If you are already working for Canterbury DHB inany capacity, please utilise the internal .
