A true kiwi success story, we are a co-operative with a team of 24,000 in a growing network of 300+ stores (PAK’n’SAVE, New World, Four Square, Gilmours, Liquorland and Fresh Collective). About the role  Working across our Retail Banners, you’ll provide expert knowledge across the Fresh Produce Category. Influencing and engaging a range of stakeholders, you’ll drive sales and performance across the Category.    With a true strategic mind-set, you’ll take on a senior role in the team, determining and achieving strategic goals through effective category planning and forecasting, contributing towards managing supplier relationships, pricing, promotional activities, range management and product maintenance.  About you  With a commercial mind-set you’ll have an in-depth understanding of Category/Account Management in FMCG or retail, ideally in Fresh.  Not afraid to get into the detail you’ll work collaboratively and effectively to plan, organise and operate the category – ensuring we’re reaching hitting financial targets, unlocking growth and using customer insights.   Keys to your success in the role will also include;  ·                     Strong understanding and/or a real passion for Fresh Produce·                     An analytical way of thinking with and an affinity for the numbers  ·                     Methodical approach to managing the administration of a large category   Because of the nature of the product, Nationwide travel is required as is the requirement to work one weekend in three.  A pivotal role in the team – this is an opportunity to shine and take on a large and complex category for the Foodies Banner stores.  About us We have the privilege of serving over 1.3 million Kiwis every week in the most awesome little country in the world.
