Key responsibilities

  • The Successful Candidate

    You will be a qualified early childhood teacher either provisionally or fully registered and have experience working within New Zealand. You will be flexible to work on a rostered basis and will be comfortable with both the opening and closing shifts (7am – 6pm).

  • Early childhood teaching qualification recognised by the Education Council of Aotearoa NZ
  • Knowledge and understanding of current early childhood education theory and practice
  • Be a team player who has great communication skills, with parents, staff and children
  • Can use initiative and is committed to quality practice standards and the principles of Te Whāriki
  • Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference to children in their early years while building strong links with their whānau and families.
