Your new companyHays Information Technology have partnered exclusively with MYTONA to select and appoint a global Chief Operating Officer in this newly created role in Takapuna, Auckland. Ranked as a Top 30 EMEA mobile gaming company, they are on a mission “to make the world happier through our games”. The team have created hits and top games including Seekers Notes and Cooking Diary and have many more exciting projects currently in development. MYTONA has a talented team of over 1000+ employees from all over the world, with offices in Auckland, Singapore and Russia. Their stunning Auckland office was opened in 2019. Your new role MYTONA are looking to bolster its C-Suite with the appointment of a global COO. The role reports to the joint CEOs, and they are looking for an exceptional COO to implement new ideas and methodologies to help MYTONA’s continued success. The new COO will help push them forward with new ideas, approaches and provide guidance for their current growth. In this role you will work alongside the global C-Suite team including the HR Director, Chief Admin Officer, Director of Legal Affairs and Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities: Define and implement strategies to achieve the company’s goals and objectives. Grow the team, develop brand awareness and progress relationships with third parties (including: consulting firms, government agencies, universities and law firms) Build a coherent business administrative infrastructure inside the NZ office and ensure its efficiency and functionality. Prepare detailed, researched business plans. Leadership of the business support team. Support and coordinate the execution of business activities (including but not limited to merges, acquisitions etc) Ensure that the NZ entity follow local laws and regulations. What you’ll need to succeed You will be a talented operational leader who is energetic and extraordinary with a passion for growth and development. You will have held, C-Suite, Director level and/or Senior Management positions previously and possess a proven track record of how to successfully operate a business here in New Zealand. Finally, you will ideally have experience of working within IT, Tech or Game Development companies.
