Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are now recruiting for a permanent Clinical Quality Assurance Adviser within our Northern Region Health Services team.  This role supports the Regional Clinical Director, Health Services and other health professionals by providing expert advice.  This would include the development, implementation, monitoring and auditing of clinical operational systems, clinical performance and risk management, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of the regions clinical systems and standards.

This role offers great opportunity to influence and champion an environment that reflects excellence in continuous quality improvement and risk management processes.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

We are eager to hear from health professionals who can evidence meeting the following requirements within their cover letter and CV:

  • A Registered Nurse through the Nursing Council of New Zealand;
  • Experience with risk management and Quality Management in the Health sector;
  • Experience in a clinical leadership role, coupled with experience of best practice clinical practice, terminology and procedures;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including good attention to detail and concise writing skills;
  • Technical (Microsoft application) competence coupled with the ability to analyse and report audit trends; and
  • A current driver’s licence with the ability and willingness to travel across the Northern region as required.
