About the role

The role is a 12 month contract and provides an excellent opportunity to work on established and recognized brands with a strong client base and a lot of achievable growth. Reporting to the Sales Director this roles primary focus is to develop creative concepts to convince advertisers to invest in our brands, you are also responsible for responding to briefs received from advertising clients, implementing advertising campaigns, and managing the advertising material workflow for each title.

Duties

With competitive base salary and uncapped commission this role will suit a driven, effective, and commercially astute operator with some creativity and natural sales skills. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing concepts and proposals to pitch to advertising clients
  • Presenting ideas and opportunities and make approaches to potential clients
  • Management of a clients base and advise on expenditure budget within ARE Media platforms
  • Manage the workflow of advertising material and content creation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Stakeholder relationships include external advertising clients and agencies, internal editorial staff and management
  • Responsible for generating advertising revenue for the portfolio
  • Skills and Experience

  • Media experience is required, magazine experience is highly advantageous
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent University qualification
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Adhere and strive towards achieving clear measurable targets
  • Have strong strong & confident relationship building skills
