About the role.

The role will work closely with managers and principals to provide support that enables the smooth and efficient function of activities and work tasks across the unit.

As a Contract Administrator you will ensure that all contract and supporting commercial information is loaded in MBIE systems and undertake analysis of supplier commercial arrangement and verify that those arrangement are correct and accurate. Proactively and reactively produce hygiene reports on contract status and commercial levers. 

Skills and experience required:

We are keen to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience working in commercial management with suppliers or clients
  • Qualification in Law, Accounting, Technology, Engineering
  • Previous experience in roles requiring commercial analysis or bid preparation, stakeholder management and influencing
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI or Access
  • Must have legal right to live and work in NZ
  • We are looking for a team player who is able to build relationship across MBIE in support of all duties involved in the position


About the team:

The ICT branch was established in 2017 and sits within the CGI Group.  The ICT branch is responsible for the full range of Technology functions, including all service delivered through 3rd parties.  Commercial Performance is responsible for managing commercial risk and value for ICT investment.
