The Commercial Specialist will be responsible for assisting with measuring the performance of this large government organisations partners, commercial and contract management and for providing reporting and analytics. This is a new role and has been designed to support the team with commercial and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recording of contract management information
  • Build relationships internally and externally that enhance the reputation and delivery of procurement and sourcing activities
  • Proactively look for improvement opportunities and work with senior members of the team to implement improvements
  • Keep accurate and timely records, updating CMS to enable optimisation of procurement spend through great metrics

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a commercial environment within a government organisation
  • Knowledge and proven application of commercial and contract management best practices
  • Stakeholder and relationship management
  • The ability to influence decision makers and create networks
  • Ability to plan and deliver outcomes that are reliant on collaboration
  • Ability to challenge thinking and identify process improvements
