Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role

We are seeking a Communications Advisor to provide communications advice and services to Kāinga Ora’s business groups.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (such as other Crown agencies and departments), and deliver high quality communication services.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring:

  • You’ll hold a tertiary qualification in communications or journalism, coupled with relevant experience working in this field
  • You’ll have broad communications experience (promotion, print, media, internet), and have led communications programmes at a programme level
  • You’ll have the ability to write well and communicate a narrative that keeps our audiences well informed and engaged
  • Public sector communications experience within a government/state sector environment is advantageous
  • You’ll have exceptional relationship management skills, coupled with a natural aptitude for strategic planning
