Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Victoria University of Wellington’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to support the Faculty’s internal and external communications.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an eye for detail and a passion for communicating. Strong writing and editing skills and the ability to adapt content and tone to suit channel and audience are essential. You will be responsible for the communication of high quality, timely information via. the Faculty’s channels, including print publications, our website, social media and e-newsletters. You will also provide communications advice and support to the Faculty’s Schools, Centres and Institutes, and so must be able to form excellent working relationships with a range of people across the Faculty, the University and externally.
Applicants should have experience using content management systems, social media platforms and email marketing software, and be familiar with print publication processes. Ideally you will also be experienced in using image and video editing software.
We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally well-organised, calm under pressure, able to problem-solve independently, and who has a strong client focus and a drive for excellence.
This is a full-time, permanent position and would suit a communications and marketing professional with at least three years experience looking for a new challenge.
