As a result of continued growth, our Auckland Transaction Tax team are looking for a talented Consultant to play a key part in implementing our growth strategy.
As part of our market leading Transaction Tax team, you will advise New Zealand and international clients on all tax aspects of their transactions, whether it is an acquisition, disposal, refinancing, restructuring, new fund or initial public offering. You will help clients throughout the transaction life cycle, from initial due diligence to post-deal implementation and beyond.
**Your key responsibilities**
In your role as a Consultant, you will provide assistance with buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence services and provide tax transaction support. You will prepare tax structuring advice and assist with transaction documentation and tax modelling services. As a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our clients and other transaction advisors and be a key participant in project managing transaction timetables and deliverables.
**Skills and attributes for success**
+ Some transactions tax experience is desirable but individuals with strong tax skills looking to move into this area are encouraged to apply
+ Demonstrated success building lasting relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders
+ Ability to thrive in a fast paced and fun environment
**To qualify for the role you must have**
+ Relevant New Zealand tax experience, ideally gained in a professional services or law firm environment
**Ideally, you’ll also have**
+ CA / legally qualified or with relevant qualifications
