Coordinator Care and Protection – Oranga Tamariki – Horowhenua Site
At Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children, we are passionate in making a positive difference to the life of tamariki and rangatahi. Our goal is to establish a multiagency approach to protecting and caring for New Zealand’s tamariki and rangatahi.
We are currently seeking a motivated Care and Protection Coordinator to join our Horowhenua Site. In this role you will be responsible in managing and coordinating complex and challenging processes of our Family Group Conferences.
A big part of your role focuses on you taking part in a joined-up approach to support the tamariki, rangatahi. You will be working in partnership with the whanau to guide and ensure all decisions delivered are to the best interest of our tamariki and rangatahi. You will also need to have a strong and balance organisational skill to manage and support Family Group Conference processes.
Your work will involve you working as an integrated part of our community to manage care and protection through engaging with mokopuna and their whanau. One of the key focus in your role is providing professionals advise on family led decisions that support whanau in developing positive outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi.
