About the role

You will coordinate and teach 10-12 groups of students completing the preceptor in nursing practice short course.

This involves;

  •  Two days in the classroom with each group
  •  Teaching in collaboration with Professional Development Unit staff and Professional Development Recognition Programme coordinators at Waikato District Health Board
  •  Marking of a forum post and role play assessment
  •  Maintenance of the preceptorship Moodle site (online learning platform)
  •  Recording results through in Wintec system
  •  Annually write and present a report to the Professional Development Unit Waikato District Health Board.
