WorkSafe New Zealand is looking for a Coordinator to join our team.  Reporting to the Manager Education Development, you will have a busy and varied role as you provide administration coordination to her and other managers across the group.  It’s a collaborative, hardworking and caring team environment, so you’ll be supported by the team to learn and grow in your role.  

Key responsibilities will include:

  • providing administrative support to the managers and team members
  • preparing documents and checking team members documents to meet legal requirements and Ministerial standards
  • arranging  travel, meeting / event management and catering
  • processing of invoices and payments
  • managing team email mailboxes and responding to emails
  • ensuring that online links and destinations are working properly
  • liaising with suppliers and service providers

The right attitude (positive, ‘can-do’) and a calm, planned approach to your work will help ensure your success.  You will also have:

  • experience providing administrative support to managers and teams
  • excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
  • good relationship management and collaboration skills
  • strong MS Excel skills as well as word processing and good overall computer literacy     
  • Familiarity with electronic publishing (preferred)
